piisfish 140 #1 February 22, 2006 Anyone has a couch or anything similar for a poor swiss dude arriving around 10PM in Luton (heading for Bedford sunday morning). I'd prefer to pay the £££ in beers than in accomodation. P.S.for Johrnich : London is in U.K., an island in Europe (the so called Old Continent) which is east from the US.scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

pa2themd 0 #4 February 23, 2006 You should ask Vampire girl or Vicki "Most of us can read the writing on the wall; we just assume it's addressed to someone else!" Ivern Ball
VampireGirl 0 #5 February 23, 2006 Sadly, I don't have a couch, only one room, or I'd be happy to. Sorry mate. You really don't want to have to travel from Luton to London and then back in that direction again though. You are probably better off trying to find somewhere to lay your head in the Bedfordshire area. Why don't you try posting something on the tunnel forums? Hope this helps. (I attach a map of the route from Luton to Bedford) London is further south.www.sneale-create.com
vt1977 0 #6 February 23, 2006 Nic - you'd be very welcome to crash on my sofa... however I live 30 odd miles south west of London, even further from Luton than Vampire Girl. I am actually quite close to Heathrow and a LONG way from Luton. Sorry I can't help. I reckon your best bet is the bunkrooms at the tunnel. bob.dino 1 #7 February 23, 2006 There's trains every 10-15 min from Luton to Bedford, and the journey takes 25min. As for accommodation, dunno.
Stumpy 284 #8 February 23, 2006 If you can get to Bedford on Saturday night you can stay at mine..... edited to add - or if there may be a bunk free (That would be a few quid though)...Never try to eat more than you can lift
