What is maturity?

Well, if I need a big penis to be mature ... well, damn, guess I'm pretty immature.

Yep, that's true, anyone who is pretty is definitely immature. Plus without a penis (woops "cock"), how do you expect to learn anything? Two heads are better than one.

No worries. I'm sure there's no shortage of guys around here who would be willing to offer to give you a big penis--temporarily (e.g., for most of them, probably 2 or 3 minutes max), of course.:D

Ok I feel really awkward saying this but here we go. In the last few years people have taken different sides on my maturity some say I am mature and others say I'm not at all. That isn't what I'm asking though. I'm asking what makes someone mature? The definition is the state or quality of being fully grown or developed. But what is your idea of a mature person? and what makes you think someone is mature?

Maturity is a state of mind. I personally would find it insulting for someone to say I am mature. Then again I find great joys in wrestling with my kids, starting foods fights, and basically lowering myself to their level.

Young adults , like you tend to strieve for maturity and to be honest its just another label. Just be yourself, enjoy your life and make good choices and regardless of your maturity or not one day when you reflect on life you will have little regret and many fond memories.

All that ever matters, is your own perceptions in regards to how you feel about yourself. It is often hard to realize that it really doesnt matter what others think about you, as long as you are at peace with who you are then all is right.

Growing older does not mean growing up.
Sudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this

Maturity is relative -

it's the rammications of the decisions you make that determine worth more than maturity. HOWEVER - maturity, as I have been told, is neccessary, if not paramount in one's success, real success, in just about anything.

it is all about having a big penis.

Big or LOUD?

I don't know what you do with your penis, but mine is relatively quiet.

You scare me.

Maturity is the ability to take responsibility for yourself and your choices, and the consequences of those choices.

Maturity is being able to answer a thread without hijacking it into another sex topic thread.:P:D:D

Maturity is doing what you should do, even when it's hard, and being honest, even when it's costly.

The ability to defer gratification is a sign of maturity in my book.

I have none of those qualities, but my kids do.B|

from Girl in the Mirror: Mothers and Daughters in the Years of Adolescence by Nancy Snyderman

We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.
