Snowwhite 0 #2 February 16, 2006 This is more of a bump than an official statement. Talked to Cajones and Don Kirlin within the last two weeks or so, and the Jet will be moving to Rantoul to finish up its' certification with the FAA. It will probably be there for a couple of months, til the certs are complete. The folks in the Illinois area FISDO are more in tune with that type of aircraft being used as a jump plane, since they were involved with all of the red tape that we had to encounter for the 727 at the World Free Fall Convention.skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
ChasingBlueSky 0 #3 February 16, 2006 I know a few local jumpers less than an hour away that would be kind enough to volunteer for test jumps ya know....just for the good of the plane...._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Snowwhite 0 #4 February 16, 2006 That's what I love about you guys, always giving and giving to the sport! LOL! Well, as soon as it shows up in Rantoul, I need someone to get a few pics of it, so we can show people what the progress is. Perhaps we can make a covert operation out of it!skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
Monkeyb 0 #5 February 17, 2006 I've not yet jumped at Perris, but when that plane clears for takeoff, I'm so there.
