BillyVance 34 #30 January 18, 2006 QuoteMe completely disinterested, watching something else... While I'm not really a fan of the NFL, I do have an interest in seeing Seattle do well with their marquee player and NFL MVP Shaun Alexander being from my favorite college, the U of Alabama Crimson Tide. My more immediate concern is of course, the recruiting battle for this fall's Freshmen crop! The Florida Gators appear to have the best signing class bar none, but Bama could break into the top 10 with a few top signees..."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban

Didn't Seattle kick the shit out of Pittsburgh last month, what was it, 40 - 0 at Pittsburgh in a snow-storm? (You can't count the victory against the Colts, that was not the Team that played in the playoffs, that was their practice squad.) They did have the wild card win over the NY Giants, but that was a very close game, they were only a wild-card team and the Panthers destroyed them... Taylor610 0 #39 January 18, 2006 refresh my memory, who was it that seattle beat last saturday without shaun alexander? *** I stand corrected, They did beat the Redskins last week. I was making reference to their regular season. I also would like to add that 2 games in a row, the Redskins had absolutly no offense. The Seahawks may hope for that for the Carolina game (it would be their only hope), but I think the Panthers will show up with a little better offense than the Seahawks have seen this year... Seahawks by a touchdown. i'm leaning toward seahawks by ten. i think that the steelers will do there best to shut down #37 so it will be more of a passing game for seattle. the problem for pitt is that seattle has already shown that its not a one trick pony. i still can't believe that seattle is the underdog. Absolutely correct. They can win without #37 if need be. They have a great QB and great receivers, plus one heck of a defense. I don't understand the betting line either. It's ridiculous. Maybe they think the Steelers are the better team since they won all their playoff games on the road, and the Seahawks played all theirs at home. Well we'll see... Holmgren already has a Super Bowl win with Green Bay, and he's built this Seahawks team into a superbowl-worthy participant too."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
