I was part of a Running Clinic that trained us towards running races and at no point did they every recommend eating a Bagel. *shrug* Maybe you can "advise" them of the correct things to eat so they can properly advise us.

No, that is not too bad. It is pretty average for people who don't smoke and are not too overweight, but probably don't do much cardio exercise.
60 isn't bad at all... I'm not at all overweight and I do plenty of cardio exercise, and my resting heart rate is 60.
