gulaz 1 #1 January 27, 2006 Is there anybody here that works for dell, or can get their hands on a service manual/schematics for an inspiron 1150 for me? Mine is dead, and out of warranty. Wont do anything, except blink the lights briefly. Anybody?? (I know its a far shot, but hey, you never know)
BillyVance 34 #2 January 27, 2006 getting the manual is your best shot, but understand that most of the important parts you will have to get from Dell."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
Vectracide 0 #3 January 27, 2006 I don't work for Dell, but I have fixed many computers that have had powersupply issues. You can test/replace that part for quite cheap. Give it a whirl. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
Nutz 0 #4 January 27, 2006 It could be the power supply. It could be a memory stick. It could be the processor. It could be a hard drive. It could be some other IDE device. It could be the mother board. Just trying to help. (I don't work for Dell.)
gulaz 1 #5 January 27, 2006 I removed ram one stick at a time, removed optical drive, and everything else that I could, just to get it to post. Motherboard has power, so I dunno. desktops are easy. Laptops confuse me.
