External Mount for a SOLO audible

Hey guys/gals,

I have a Skysystems USA Hurricane helmet and I am hard pressed to find a straight answer for an external mount for a SOLO. I talked to the manufacturer, and they said talk to L&B. I emailed them and they suggested using the Protektor to mount externally. Unfortunately there is no specific mount for the audible. What have some of you used? Any ideas?

Hi Alex, the Protektor is the only way to mount the Solo on the Hurricane.
The Protektor comes with 4 holes that you can use to put the Wax cords or the Zip Ties and mount them on your Helmet.
I also sugest that you use your imagination to think of ways to reinforce the mount on your helmet, like a Gaffers tape for example.

I don't know about the Hurricane but I helped a skydiver at my dz with mounting a Solo on their Oxygn A3.

I put the plastic protector around the Solo and then used the plastic mounting bracket for a Pro-Track or Dytter (I can't remember which one). The plastic protector makes it big enough to stay in the bracket and there are two black rubber band safety stows to keep it attached if necessary.

No, that clip will work only for the ProDytter or ProTrack.

Since the Solo is smaller it will not fit.
