Icon134 0 #1 January 10, 2006 Ok, Some of my "friends" I put them in quotations because really only one of the people going is my friend (the only girl in the group) the other two are my friend's boyfriend and her boyfriend's bestfriend. The only reason I'm "friends" with the guys is because I'm friends with her... (it's sad... and um... not really the point of this poll...) But they are planning to go to japan and visit with some mutual friends of ours... (they are all asian yet none of them speak japanese , whereas I do...) The thing is... I'm torn... I've been wanting to go back to Japan since I was there almost 6 years ago. but I'm not sure I want to spend the almost $800 on a plane ticket... and often I find myself uncomfortable around these "friends"... so... What should I do...Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...

Tenshi 0 #6 January 10, 2006 I would LOVE to go to Japan and wouldn't even mind coughing up 800$ for the ticket. But I wouldn't even consider it if it was with people I didn't feel comfortable with for 100% (well...let's say 95% ) Shit like that can mess up a potentially GREAT trip. Good luck! Skip the trip, wait a few months and go to Japan by yourself. I find that travelling alone can be alot of fun, forcing you to meet new people. And if you already know some friends there, even better. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
