lawrocket 3 #2 January 5, 2006 I like nice strong ales. Typically Belgian ales are my preferred beer. For everyday drinking, I've got a 1/5 barrel keg of Firestone Double Barrel Ale in my kegerator. It's great stuff. Anything by the Stone Brewing Company of San Diego is good, too. New Belgium's 1554 Black Ale is good stuff. I've never been particular to German beers. I'm just not a traditional lager-type guy, though some types of lagers I do enjoy. My wife is hotter than your wife.

tumbler 0 #10 January 5, 2006 Sam Adams Honey Brown from the tap... The best Guinness I have had was in Tynagh, about an hour into the country form Shannon. There is no doubt that the beer served in country is much better than the stuff served elsewhere when it comes to Guinness.

Oh, my friend...if you haven't had it from the source, you honestly don't know what Guinness is all about. Guinness outside of Eire just isn't the same...at all.Kevin - Sonic Beef #5 - OrFun #28 "I never take myself too seriously, 'cuz everybody know fat birds don't fly." - FLC Online communities: proof that people never mature much past high school. tumbler 0 #15 January 5, 2006 First Guinness I had was in McAllen... the Irishmen I was drinking with assured me it was pure "piss" compared to the stuff at home... I did not believe them until I tried it myself. Sure enough, there is a huge difference.

Ragnarok 0 #22 January 5, 2006 Uh, you do not put fruit in your beer, people - unless you are a chick. If I wanted a fruit salad - I would ask for one. Blue Moon is made by Coor's - it does not count. Good attempt at a belgian white, though._________________________________________ Twin Otter N203-Echo,29 July 2006 Cessna P206 N2537X, 19 April 2008 Blue Skies Forever

Maybe that's because I drank from the bottle, but it would seem strange if I brought my pint glass everywhere I went.Divot your source for all things Hillbilly.
