Some of you have seen our new modular lounge, game room, internet cafe, AFF training and foosball, etc. We took entries for the naming of the buildign and are giving away a free day of skydiving to the winner.

There are some good ones there TK. I like ' Z lounge', maybe modified to 'Z Sky Lounge'. 'TK's' is a real good one too. Making it easy to say is a plus. I'd bet you'll be directing 1st timers there since your AFF training is there also. Glad to hear your adding more goodness to your DZ. Have a great '06

The CockPit is either a gay bar or a "massage" parlor.

Keep in mind gay bars tend to play good dance music and draw quite a crowd and the Massage parlor will probably be raided so lean towards the first if you go with The Cockpit.

Z-Spot or TK's is pretty cool.

From my typical comment in response to "how do you swoop?" "Close your eyes, grab a front riser, then hook and hope..." Then I start talking about accuracy and landing patterns, followed quickly by "have you signed up for Scott Miller's canopy course coming up in a couple of months? He won't teach you how to swoop during the day long course, but you'll learn the fundamentals, which is where it all starts..."

Perris has the "Bombshelter", Eloy the "Bent Prop" (usually shortened to 'The Prop' for me 'cause it just easier to say).

I like your choice of “Z-Pod”. Gives a feeling of being able to settle down and feel at home. Plus an air of mystery in the name.

I am all for city hall, but!

A lot of people don't know this, but several years ago a bunch of us got together and decided that Phantom was mayor of the dropzone. There was no election or anything as one was not needed. Everyone pretty much agreed that he was the guy. We were going to have buttons and t-shirts made but never got around to it. So if we call it city hall there has to be a photo of mayor Phantom in there.

yeah rick. where the hell were you?? the dives were fun and you were definitely missed on them.

oren, i still think that phantom's pic should hang in the . he has to have a toothpick in his mouth, though.

i just hope everyone respects the bldg enough to not trash the place out. it's an awesome new pad that i am super stoked about. it's always cool seeing everyone at the dz pull together to make something good for the dz itself - like Lake Mottski. thanks TK!
