Squeak 17 #5 March 30, 2008 Quote Nice looking rig! Am I way off base or does that look a lot like a vector 2? looks more like a talon or voodoo does anyone else have a small problem with a company that staes that their performance is variableI hope YOUR rig is one where the variables all line up to make a good productYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
Mickochet 0 #6 March 31, 2008 Say what you want but at least they didn't try to copy a Racer (shudder), and yes I have owned a racer. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.
MasterOfMagic 0 #7 March 31, 2008 They changed the name from performance variable to Firebird ! Performance variable was indeed not a really good name for a manufacturer. It's a very comfortable rig, with all extra's inclusive. (hip rings, etc etc)

Yeah, especially when your gear is involved in several close calls and at least 2 fatalities...
Sabre1Lucke 0 #9 March 31, 2008 Read that post again and you will know the details. Those rigs are realy good and fit very well. It's not the only brand with a close call. Remember why everybody has to move the cutter. And in the meantime almost every brand is doing that.
Rover 11 #10 March 31, 2008 Yeah, especially when your gear is involved in several close calls and at least 2 fatalities... Which gear hasn't been involved in close calls or fatalities. I'd wager for example that there have been more incidents on Vectors than Firebirds. Is that why Relative Workshop became UPT. I think not.2 wrongs don't make a right - but 3 lefts do. P-dro 0 #11 March 31, 2008 My remark had nothing to do with moving the cutter: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1726796
MasterOfMagic 0 #12 March 31, 2008 I was only showing my new rig like a lot of other people do on dropzone.com This is a new container and has nothing to do what happend in the past with another container. It's only the same manufacturer.
