Miami 0 #1 December 22, 2005 So now that I'm back in a job that affords me a lot of free time through the day I'm finding ways to kill time...the main one being minesweeper (all the porn is blocked ). It got me thinking though, what kind of scores are other dz.commers getting on the expert level? (Yea, I'm bored)Miami
fenceline 0 #2 December 22, 2005 Its not about the low score on expert.... its the sub 8 scores on beginner that really count!!!
Brains 2 #3 December 22, 2005 I had to go back and check my computer. I haven't played that in forever. My beginner score is 10, intermediate is 82, and expert is 349 Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

BillyVance 34 #6 December 23, 2005 QuoteBeginner - 999 Intermediate - 999 Expert - 999 That's what my computer has at home. I never had any games on the work computer. Wasn't allowed... Hadn't played that game in a while at home either and it was on the old computer. GoOd LuCk if you try it ~ if you beat it LET ME KNOW cuz in the 4 years i've been addicted to my Custom board, i've only beaten it maybe 10 times...... and i always get so darn close ! ~hollywood see the world! http://gorocketdog.blogspot.com

Miami 0 #12 December 23, 2005 That is a tough board (% of mines on expert is 22%, on your custom it's 25%), best I could do it in so far is 220. I'm really trying to break 100 on the expert board, my best so far on it is 105.Miami

BlindBrick 0 #14 December 23, 2005 The harddrive that had my old best scores got wiped a while back, but i do know I was to the point where I could play Expert for 8-10 hours and maybe lower my time by a second or two. -Blind"If you end up in an alligator's jaws, naked, you probably did something to deserve it." gulaz 1 #19 December 23, 2005 If you want a really good score on minesweeper... and show off to your friends, heres what you do. Minimize all the windows except for minesweeper. Have the screen resolution set low enough, because you will be looking at 1 pixel in the top left of your screen (pixel=1 dot on the screen). In minesweeper, type xyzzy and press the left shift button. Move your mouse over the squares, and you will see the 1 pixel at the top left corner of your desktop change from white to black. White=no mine, black=a mine . You can be a new minesweeper psychic, and pick where all the mines are before even clicking on a button.
jakee 1,551 #20 December 23, 2005 Beginner 6 Intermediate 28 Expert 86 I get very bored while revising for exams. After a while I started trying without using the flag (right click). Playing like that I could get under 40 seconds for intermediate and under 110 for expert.Do you want to have an ideagasm?
SpeedRacer 1 #21 December 23, 2005 xyzzy= good trick! could come in handy when you've got one of those 50/50 situations where there's just no way to deduce the mine's position. Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------
gulaz 1 #22 December 23, 2005 and its cool if you have people watching you. They wont notice the dot, and as long as you are fairly careful about using your psychic abilities, they will think you are just very lucky.

Now that's an impressive score...I've tried the non-marking method but I just can't do well with it, I'm too used to marking them. Miami
