sundevil777 102 #28 December 17, 2005 Congratulations to everyone for getting drunk so often. Quite an accomplishment to be proud of.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

BillyVance 34 #30 December 17, 2005 Usually about a 6 pack a week, but I will easily drain at least the first 4 the night I buy it... I also have a few mixed drinks at night when I don't have beer. Then again, there are dry spells when I go 2 or 3 weeks without drinking anything."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
NlghtJumper 0 #31 December 17, 2005 Before I was in the ARMY, I could barely finish 1 beer an hour. But when the ARMY sent me to Germany, where the beer is cheaper than water... I aquired the taste very quickly. Its all about saving money.... right? Guest #32 December 17, 2005 Sorry, but I need definitions. Is a "beer" considered to be 12 US oz.? In that case, I'm way beyond the limit. I got into the habit of consuming "tallboys" (1 litre containers) of brew when I was in Germany. Each of those was considered to be "Ein Bier" - heh I went back to 12 oz shite when I returned to the US in 1984. Man-sized portions of brew came with screw-tops back then (in ugly bottles too, I might add, but I digress), and it was industrial piss. Fortunately, the "Craft Beer" movement exploded in the US in the 90's , and so this evening, for example, I had a bottle of "Dragonstooth Stout" (32 us oz [947 ml]), some of the finest beer on Earth. In my opinion, it stands head-to-head with some of the ancient craft from Germany (and I should know, I was there for two whole years)]). So I guess the point I'm trying to make is - this is more a matter of quality (or octane rating, as it were - heh) than it is a matter of quantity (e.g., how many cans of ButtWeiper did you swill today?) So there! hehehe mh"The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
labrys 0 #33 December 17, 2005 QuoteI currently drink five or six Arrogant Bastards a week. That would be the equivalent of 15-20 in the poll, IMO. Tasty, but deadly.Owned by Remi #?

Although getting drunk seems to be a Uk thing compared to other euopean countries, so i won't go on about it too much What are you saying, that they don't get drunk in other european countries? It is nice to be a lightweight; the other night at dinner I had one margarita and got a nice warm buzz going "If toast always lands butter-side down, and cats always land on their feet, what happens if you strap toast on the back of a cat and drop it?" --Steven Wright
