I used to not really understand the whole Clooney thing, until I saw him up close. I actually felt his HEAT, before I saw him. He is definitely a sexy-looking man and simply exudes sexuality and charm, more so than I would have thought. I wouldn't kick him out of my bed, either, Andrea. As for George Clooney? He's hot, Agreed- put me down on the list for not kicking George Clooney out of my bed! i agree with you about the George Clooney thing. I used to not think he was all that hot and then i saw him in person. Wow. He really is a sexy older man. Paul Walker is awesome. I think he's a great actor, but even if he couldn't act, he's fuckin hot!! Come on! Lay off the Pitt man! He did suck a bit in Seven. But he rocked out in FIght Club. Plus he is hot. These excerpts can only lead me to believe that while Men have been the ones unfairly maligned in today's Oprahgynogicized media for being "superficial poon hounds" (just because everything we do in our lives, from the very act of showering daily to the building of trillion dollar multi-national conglomerates is motivated entirely by the desire to eventually get our hands on a nice set of sweater cakes), it is in fact Women who are more shallow in their entertainment pursuits. I mean, sure, when given the faintest opportunity, a man will squander his last dollar on a cocaine-fueled lapdance from an essentially talentless, intellectually vapid, and in fact soulless stripper, but at least there's an earnest performance involved! Even the least able stripper can stay in character long enough to remember her stage name (and, if you play your cards right, eventually fake a somewhat convincing orgasm). But even if she can't, she's still rubbing her crotch against your crotch. Whereas, women will pay the same money just to LOOK at some vacuous dumbass on a movie screen, even when he can't act! That's not only shallow, it's BAD MONEY MANAGEMENT. I yet know of no man who will spend good money on a bad movie in the blind hope that some bimbo will take her shirt off. The only conclusion I'm left with is that they are every bit as shallow as we have been TOLD that we are; if not moreso. Women are equally superficial, but have different superificialities to them (although there is some unifying superficiality to them). First, in terms of instinct. Guys, to you ever see a woman and get immediately stricken, saying to yourself, "Day-YUM! I'll bet she has an AWESOME knowledge of actuarial statistics." No, doesn't happen that way. We'll see her butt, boobs, face, figure, posture, etc., and take that as a first impression. It's why we've got descriptors like BBW, butterface, etc Do you think ladies are any different? No. I learned to accept that being an ugly guy left me at a disadvantage, so I better get educated to make up some points. Sure, women put a bigger focus on physical appearance, clothes, etc., than guys as a whole (there really are not that many metrosexuals), and guys are more self-centered in not caring as much about what other dudes think of them.
