Michele 1 #13 December 5, 2005 Chuck, go ahead and get her spayed as soon as you are able. If she's coming up to two years old, it's beyond time. It's a relatively simple procedure, and she should be fine within 48 hours of the surgery (except for the stitches). I'd suggest you schedule an appointment now rather than later. It's more expensive to do it while the animal is in heat, so it's also cheaper to do it before she enters heat again (and studies have shown it's safer, too, to do it while she's not in estrus). As for the link being disgusting, I didn't see it (and frankly, I don't have any desire to...). Just trying to give a bit of info for you. It wasn't made sticky to promote the event, it was made sticky because enough people asked for it so they could make arrangements. If Skyfest ever becomes the biggest boogie in the world to where a lot of people ask for arrangements for ride or room sharing, I'll make that sticky too.
