1969912 is almost done! F%@K YES! It has eaten up a few years of my so-called life, but has been a worthy effort. Just have to do a little tuning, polish the paint, and install new carpet. May have time to start skydiving pretty soon. Pics attached.

Thanks! It was a lot of work/fun. Got the car in '84 and put ~80KMiles on it (had ~102K when I bought it). After getting out of college, I completely gutted it and redid everything. About 2000 hours work.

When I was at Cal Poly, just about every weekend I drove that car from the coast inland about 100 miles to the Bakersfield area to work in the oilfields. Even though it was not the most direct route, I took highway 58 because 58 had really nice corners and no traffic. The car is pretty low-tech as far as suspension design, but only weighs ~2100 lbs.

Old P-cars look so much better than the modern ones... besides of course the 993 turbo, my personal favorite.

Excellent Car! I'm glad there are more than one, multi-dimensional sky divers out there. Sky diving is a hugh rush as we all know, but it's not the only passion in life.

Thanks for the compliments folks. I only posted the picture because I had been hammering beers. The old 901 series cars are kinda primitive compared to cars today, but they are light (1,000 lb less than the current ones) and fairly affordable. The car project kind of dragged on because of getting married, building a house, getting unmarried, climbing, racing, job changes...
I can't wait to start jumping.
