4 Miserable Jumps

Recommended Posts

Yeah, but maybe there are people who didn't get to jump AT ALL in November who would be envious of your 4 jumps...I"m not one of them, but they might exist. You never know. :P

At the DZ at least one weekend day (except Thanksgiving weekend) all month

So thats like 4 or 5 days then? Suck it up dude, its the winter. I (and many others here) can trade you much longer bad weather runs than that, some of them during summer!

Besides, no jumps are miserable, each one is to be enjoyed to the full;)
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Only you can make them miserable.

You should always be thankful for what you get.

Quit yer whining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :|

Or Move down South!

I made 26 I believe if my memory serves me correctly. As I am not into logging them. I know I had two reserve rides! :o:D:ph34r::S

I don't know if moving south would help. I live in Texas and haven't been able to jump in 3 WEEKS. WTF? Granted though, I am still a student and conditions which may ground me are fine for more experienced jumpers, which sucks even worse because I get to hang out at the DZ all day watching everybody else jump and thinking about about how much paintball I could have been playing instead.

True, sometimes though the conditions should be looked at by the experienced as well. They do not always do that.

Why don't you read the S.I.M. or take some pack classes. Pack for money when you cannot jump. Something like that.

I know a person used to be able to take the written test before they had the jumps. You could be studying and have that out of the way. Find out what you can knock out.

Book Fla. if you have some cash or credit. Only way to survive a northern winter.
Was just day dreamin about a sunset track dive over the shore of Lake Okeechobee. Landing at the cabins where we stayed by the lake.
Hey, day dream dives are cool too when it's all you can do.

Try ZERO jumps in November for me, and NO DZ visits. :|

I know a girl who passed the Canadian Rigger A written test when she only had one jump.
Hint: CSPA normally requires more than 50 jumps before the Rigger A Course, but waived that requirement because hse grew up on a DZ and had packed school mains fo the last 4 years.

The bottom line is - while you are still a student - there is plenty of book work and ground school to keep you busy during the cold months.

I've only made 4 jumps in all of November myself (which is an all-time low for this camper). But I don't consider them to be miserable jumps. They were fun jumps and I was happy to see that my skill level didn't drop off that much (yet) due to my inactivity.

Well I had 14 Free at the Black & Gold.

Three the first weekend of the month

9 over Thanksgiving but I was not jumping that hard.

I also did about 30-Min in the Tunnel w/ Sally Hathaway.

Living in FLorida can be rough though!:D
