JackSA 0 #1 May 4, 2008 Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has jumped a Sabre2 with an exit weight of 240lbs+ flying at a 1.8 WL? I'm aware of PD's charts saying that this is a no-no .... but I'd like to hear from those who are flying this config without any issues. Cheers, JackSA

Cheers, JackSA If your jump numbers are correct and you intend to jump at a 1.8 wing loading expect some serious negative feedback on this forum.Personally I think with regards to the equipment there would be no problem. They're are a lot of people that load the Sabre 2 even more than that. More importantly I think a 135 is much too small for your experience. Please reconsider. You are getting into a different arena by downsizing to a 135 and smaller canopy.
AggieDave 6 #3 May 4, 2008 Jump numbers and other problems aside. In my experience, 1.8 is over loading a Sabre2. I've jumped Sabre2s loaded from 1.1:1 to 1.9:1. 1.4-1.6 is really the sweat spot for a Sabre2 in terms of swooping, in my experience.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." JackSA 0 #4 May 4, 2008 Hi, pilot-one No, I didn't say I was about to down-size. I'm looking for the average WL'ing of a Sabre2. Thanks for you post.
