sinker 0 #1 November 29, 2005 as is the rest of the house... my daughter has a little card game. there's one card in it that is killing us... there are four pictures on it and we are supposed to determine what each item has in common. the answer is not given. we can't for the life of us figure out the damned answer... we thought about the "protection" theme, but something is still missing... here are the four items pictures: a cactus a skunk an armadillo an umbrella any ideas? anybody? -the artist formerly known as sinker

kelel01 1 #5 November 29, 2005 If you put the word "rusty" in front of them, they'd all make great bar names? I see what you mean about protection - the problem is that three of them are designed to protect themselves, but the umbrella protects someone else. I'm really at a loss here. christelsabine 1 #10 November 29, 2005 Quoteall of them need water? Naaa.... Not needing water.... My umbrella looks happy if it's just standing in the corner, being dry, not working... I think much more, water simply is running down over all those items. They in fact do not get really wet. Me thinks dudeist skydiver # 3105
flyangel2 2 #11 November 29, 2005 How are the items pictured on the cards? Is some one holding any of the items? Is it just a black and white drawing? Are they in a set environment?May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. Girlfalldown 0 #12 November 29, 2005 I think you should scan the cards and post them so we can get a better understanding. Oh and skunk can be a plant. Think herb baby. -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.)

RhondaLea 4 #19 November 29, 2005 Well, they're all water-resistant. Not the skunk itself, but the odor of skunk. But that's pretty lame so it can't be the answer. I've tried to think of all the things that these items have, and I can't come up with any kind of commonality. Doesn't the game come with an answer sheet? rl P.S. Not "skunk weed," "skunk cabbage." Edited to add: There is an armadillo plant, as well as an umbrella plant. But that's pretty lame too.If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from.
