VisionAir 0 #1 October 9, 2002 Just curious List your canopies if ya want. Personally I'm under a Safire 169 at 1.42 but about to go to a Something 150 at 1.6. I know I could research this using profiles but this is much easier Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.

mujie96 0 #6 October 9, 2002 I'm downsizing soon but I'll still be at less than 1.0. I think a 150 will keep me entertained for quite a while. Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

SkymonkeyONE 4 #10 October 9, 2002 Hmm. Maybe not, so I did answer the poll, just not reiterate my 2.23 and 2.4 wingloads. Oops! I just did it.

AggieDave 6 #12 October 9, 2002 Geez, only 2.4? Pussy... j/k (I would most likely die a quick and violent death under those loadings...except I'd be doing that under a "big" canopy of about 114sq ft) --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." TALONSKY 0 #19 October 9, 2002 It sounds like you may not know that your Safire 169 is really closer to a PD Sabre 150. You can call Icarus yourself at (630) 562-2735. I had a Safire 169 and measured it up against a Sabre 150 and mine was a touch smaller. The reason for this is Icarus desided to measure differently than most companies on the Safire & Omega ( who knows why). Blue Skies Kirk

CanuckInUSA 0 #24 October 9, 2002 I'm poised to take possession of a Triathlon 220 (according to the FedEx website, my new rig is somewhere in the Denver area, but still not in my hands) and it'll be loaded at approximately 1.06:1. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
TALONSKY 0 #25 October 9, 2002 It is my understanding that all Safire 1's are measured the funky way along with the original Omega's. As I understand it they change the way they measure them on the Safire 2's and the Omni. Kirk BTW mine was made in July of 2000
