1-800-SkyRide teams with Travelocity?

Recommended Posts

I would say there is some rock solid evidence, and we could counter sue for legal fees and put the fucker out of buisness.

Could be wishful thinking - How about a class action lawsuit?B|

Make sure to point out the USPA has decided to disassociate them self from this company and their Owners due to their dishonest business practices

Is that currently accurate? Last I heard the USPA reinstated their group membership pending hearing their appeal - sure everyone's pretty sure the appeal will fail but at present they still have their GM... or has the appeal happened by now?

ummm... so now do we need a "What can we do about Travelocity?" thread?

Don't worry, Travelocity enforces garuntees with it's partners. It won't take long for travelocity customers to start calling complaining about skyride before the partnership is disolved. Either that or skyride will be forced to be honest in order to be in business with travelocity.

and Sabre is owned by American Airlines

Well... I found this on the Sabre-Holdings site:

"Sabre Holdings is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol TSG"

American may own a lot of shares, but it is a publically traded company.

yes, American Air owns more than half of Sabre. Sabre is the back-end of Travelocity (and American). all are publicly traded.

If Travelocity participates in the same violations of the Lanham Act, then Travelocity may be exposed to liability as well.

Aparently travelocity doesent do any type of research on who they partner with.

Luckily I may have some connections at Travelocity and I will show them the thread, lawsuit info and BBB information. From there it's their decision. (If I can reach this person)

Not sure they will care, but in my travels I will not jump at any of those. The one I quoted avove used to be a favorite place of mine to go.

You can take this one off the list as it is now a training site for CPS

Actually, Skydive Coolidge is still taking reservations for tandems and is still listed on this site.
The former owner or current owner would need to change it here.
As to them still taking tandems as Skydie Coolidge, thats for CPS to work out.

Can you imagine the customer reaction when they get to Lodi and see that tandems are $100!? Getting charged $250 for a $200 jump is one thing....

Selling through Travelocity will probably put an end to their fictictious dropzones in states where they have no partners. This may be their end game to show they've reformed their illegal ways in the Eloy suit. Overcharging is still legal.
