bch7773 0 #28 November 1, 2005 Quote If you hunt or shoot long enough, we all make mistakes. Safeties aren't always fool proof and it's usually the unloaded gun that shoots someone. exactly. I nearly shot my friend with a .45 revolver that had misfired. It misfired on the 5th shot, so i thought i had been counting wrong and it was now empty. I pulled the trigger and surprise surprise, the 6th shot went off and nearly hit my friend in the leg. also my father who had been hunting for dozens of years, peppered me with a shotgun because he fired on birds and swung the gun around towards me and fired on them again. it seems stupid, but ALWAYS be careful with guns even if you just checked it.
