I suppose I worded that badly. I was trying to point out that woodpecker didn't bump the thread. The previous poster did. And not with a laugh but with what looked like an attempt to ask people to think.

My bad. I didn't notice that there was another post before woodpecker's.

I don't want to come off as all judgmental here; honestly, I think that the dark humor is one of the things that makes this sport special, and one of the things that helps us cope with the darker side of the sport. The post *is* funny and I laughed.

But I don't think bumping this thread two days after the incident was the right thing to do. At any rate, enough from me because that's all I'm doing at this point - keeping this thread at the top.

I'm going to lock this thread out of respect to the family involved in the incident that happened in Thomaston. I'm not going to delete it because there are a couple of informative posts on here and if I put it in the Trash Bin, no one will be able to reference them. The jokes are seriously not funny at this point and I don't want the thread to remain on the front page.
