First- It is Dalmatian.

Second- No, most are not. About 1 in 12 have some sort of hearing impairment.

Third- Louie's hearing is excellent.

My sweet, precious, beautiful angel, Josephine (Josie for short). She's everything to me! We go everywhere together and she almost always behaves! She loves people and others of her own kind. At doggie day care, she's the "social chairman". She can do lots of tricks (for treats), like twirl, sit, down, stay, come & spot. She likes to chase the kitties in the house and run sprints when she's "over-tired". I confess, there are times when I love her more than my husband!!!! :)
