riggerrob 643 #2 June 23, 2008 Official, genuine ALS Bag bungees are available form Strong Enterprises. However, our local Rona, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire, Home Depot, etc. sometimes sells bungee cord that is about the same diameter and strength as original bungees. Just remember to tie them to two inches long. Much longer than that and you risk line dump. Strong Enterprises says that if you can close ALS bungees - without a pull up cord - they are too loose and you risk line dump. No need to worry about tandem instructors beating up incompetent packers ... they won't be able to raise a fist for at least a week! Tee! Hee!
