Ian84 0 #1 October 16, 2005 I was diggin through my old photos and came across this lot from about 2 years ago. The first 2 are from stingray city in the Cayman Islands. I used to work out there. My mate Billy and I took a really dodgy little boat out there at about 5.30 in the morning. We didn't realise how hungry these fellas would be and ended up getting absolutely swamped by them. The other 2 are from my brothers cage dive in South Africa. He was 15 when he did that dive. Looks like a good laugh. (Unfortunately I had to crop most of the photos off due to the size of the files) Anyway, I know there are a good few divers on here so I thought I'd share. Ian. riddler 0 #4 October 17, 2005 I was at stingray city last year - not much more than a bland tourist attraction. I got a little overzealous with feeding them squid, and my fingers got sucked down a few times - those things have some powerful plates with which to squish one's fingers I dove all three islands, and the wild stingrays we found in the sandbars and coral reef were MUCH cooler than the overgrown pets at stingray city. bobsled92 0 #5 October 17, 2005 Sting Ray City was quite enjoyable. The experience of diving that Island was quit a joy. I was in the water with Hammer heads else where (Not Cayman) but not a planned event, just the attention drawn from others' spear fishing with us.
