Oopps 0 #20 October 2, 2005 Quote Pleasure: Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire I love that book. Pity the wicked stepsister one he wrote wasn't so good. For me Under and Alone by William Queen (good non-fiction, highly recommended) Savage Summit - First Five Women Who Climbed K2 by Jennifer Jordan (yes I snuck over from RC.com) Blink - the Power of Thinking Without Thinking by Malcom Gladwell (his other book was better). Anyone else like to be reading several different books at the same time?

Sopheavy 0 #22 October 2, 2005 Okay...it's almost 4AM and I have to get up by 9AM to teach Sunday school...but I'm still up posting!!!...well, I'm having an insomnia moment...here's what's on my nightstand. My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers Anne of Green Gables by L.Montgomery that's just a small list...I have tons more in the corner of my room I plan on reading....one being Tristram Shandy!!!! If I like it, I can read it in one sitting ((Gone with the Wind (Margaret Mitchell) and Main Street (Sinclair Lewis)) was read in 24 hours straight). if I don't, it's never going to see daylight. However, I can't read Hemmingway in one sitting, his stories need a lot of digesting.---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- If you want to see the rainbow, you gotta put up with the storm.
