Nelson-Atkins Art Gallery
Union Station-Science Center
Night Life - The Plaza
Cabelas (if you know you go)

Computer Stores - Micro Warehouse - Overland Park

Jump at Skydive Kansas Osage City, Kansas (SW) - Great People - Easy to and from - comfortable DZ. (Best if you're in Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and points west)

Also Missouri River Skydivers (East) lots of outs - one crazy cat (feline) and one bombbadd skydiving lawyer.

Did I mention eat Bar-B-Q?

The Plaza rocks -- but for shopping, NOT the nightlife...For that, I highly recommend Westport, very active scene.

As for a DZ - MO River Valley Skydivers is okay - friendly (don't mind the cranky old lady working manifest) and the planes are, well, let's just say they can get airborne :) Have fun!



Question: Are you driving or flying?

Thanks !!!! Looks like I will be staying near Overland Park, so I'll have to gauge the ability to make it back and forth between work and Plaza.... as for DZs.... I'll be making a point to visit each DZ within 100 miles at least once (doesn't look like there are any DZs closer than 100 miles, LOL)

I'v been wanting to get to Manhatten..K State...
119 miles From down town...

That's due west on 70...

Cabellas & the Nasscar track are at 70 & 435

So it's about 100 from 435 & 70...
