skybytch 273 #6 October 2, 2005 In no particular order... Wherever the Cutaway Cafe is. The Bombshelter at Perris does good diner-style food. Skydive Chicago had some good stuff last time I was there (don't remember the restaurant's name...). Russell cooks up some interesting stuff at Davis. Tortellinni salad for lunch, and he whipped up some Thai food for a benefit for local teams one night.

I've eaten at Skydive Dallas, the Cutaway Cafe, and Aviator's... Man, it's a close tie between the last two on my list. But I have to give the point to Aviator's for having some of the strongest mixed drinks on the planet! Nothing like some Monkey Fries or their Chicken pita with a crown & coke.Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

tbrown 26 #25 October 3, 2005 Da Bom Shelter at Perris has come a long long way. I remember when they served rotgut chili and some kind of neckbones with pancakes from a trailer (and I'm NOT making this up either). Nowadays they've got a real chef there and I've had some delightful dinners, like mahi-mahi fajitas with wild rice and a really imaginative salad for six bucks & change. Damn good food !
