Which DZ has the best food?

Recommended Posts

In no particular order...

Wherever the Cutaway Cafe is.

The Bombshelter at Perris does good diner-style food.

Skydive Chicago had some good stuff last time I was there (don't remember the restaurant's name...).

Russell cooks up some interesting stuff at Davis. Tortellinni salad for lunch, and he whipped up some Thai food for a benefit for local teams one night.

Well, the restaurant (Buzz Inn) at Skydive Snohomish is nothing to write home about but Airfield Espresso KICKS ASS. If I have good coffee, I can deal with the rest. :)

You guys should come over to Switzerland and try Gruyères and Yverdon...

I heard that the Vichy airfield restaurant was great too (Not the tent for the boogie, the yearly rstaurant)

What are you clowns talking about? Yes..........Perris is OK, SD Arizona is OK, Deland is OK, but the best food EVER is Monkey fries at Aviators, Raeford, NC! B|

I've eaten at Skydive Dallas, the Cutaway Cafe, and Aviator's...

Man, it's a close tie between the last two on my list. But I have to give the point to Aviator's for having some of the strongest mixed drinks on the planet!B| Nothing like some Monkey Fries or their Chicken pita with a crown & coke.;)

You have to be kidding me!

Well, ever since it has become politically incorrect to serve identifiable chicken body parts outside of KFC, Popeyes and Church's the restaurants who still serve it have a warm spot in my heart. :S

Da Bom Shelter at Perris has come a long long way. I remember when they served rotgut chili and some kind of neckbones with pancakes from a trailer (and I'm NOT making this up either). Nowadays they've got a real chef there and I've had some delightful dinners, like mahi-mahi fajitas with wild rice and a really imaginative salad for six bucks & change. Damn good food !
