medusa 0 #1 September 27, 2005 I got this silly question I been asking my self, after watching Something about mary. Have you heard of any skydiver who have had any problems with their testicles during Skydive?. Here are some funny configurations: - Head down Premature reserve opening. Ending in a Legs Strap-Testicle severe entaglement - Pilot chute hesitation. Due to a bridel testicle severe entaglemt Medusa Get Killed or Die Trying! Spizzzarko 0 #2 September 27, 2005 Well jhonathan, that's a fairly male name, have you ever had one shift through the jump and then felt it on opening? It's uncool.

Thanatos340 1 #5 September 27, 2005 My Brother once had a legstrap Nut Under on a Bungee Launch. 185 foot Tower in Chatanooga, TN. They used a Modified Parachute Harness and 3 Ring release to initiate the launch. Everything was good while they were stretching the Bungee Cord, Soon as they released him.... You could hear the scream for miles. Then as he neared the Apex, you see him frantically trying to adjust himself before coming back down.. to no avail and another scream. Repeat about 5 more times before they were finally able to get him back down.
goose491 0 #6 September 27, 2005 QuoteHave you heard of any skydiver who have had any problems with their testicles during Skydive?. Ahhh! Q: what malfunction is worse then the line over? A: The nut under. The deployment will look normal from the ground but you will hear the jumpers cries. lol. It happened to a friend of mine only a couple weeks ago. Poor bugger. QuoteHead down Premature reserve opening. Ending in a Legs Strap-Testicle severe entaglement Head down premature reserve opening and you've a lot more damage to worry about then yo privates friend. Crashez 0 #7 September 27, 2005 Had someone deploy under me without a wave off. I already had my pilot chute in hand. Sorta did a hard ass barrel roll and throw. Body possition was all off and sure enough the nut under struck. I got slung so hard back intothe saddle that it ripped the stitching in the seat of my jumpsuit. Can we say black and blue for weeks. JohnRich 4 #9 September 27, 2005 Recommendations: Wear "briefs" underwear (not boxers) to keep 'em firmly in place and under control. Wear the leg straps tight so that they don't have room to slide around. Keep your nuts happy.

goose491 0 #17 September 27, 2005 QuoteRecommendations: Wear "briefs" underwear (not boxers) to keep 'em firmly in place and under control. Words of wisdom! I hate (repeat: Hate!) briefs. I wear boxers and actually opt to not wear underwear at all most of the time (for those that wanted a bit too much info ). I wear boxer-briefs when I skydive though. It makes ajusting the harness a lot less uncomfortable and I must say it does give me a lot more confidence in the dreaded nut-under department. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!! SpeedRacer 1 #18 September 27, 2005 I wear briefs usually. Especially when doing athletic things. It keeps everything where its supposed to be. never had a nut-under. (Madeline Kahn in History of the World: "I love Quick Time Harch!") It also avoids that situation in that Friends episode when one of the girls' boyfriends shows up at the coffee shop wearing baggy shorts & puts his feet up. (Ross: "Calm down! There's no need to get....testy!") Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------

GQ_jumper 4 #23 September 27, 2005 i've had plenty of nut-unders, thanks to those incredibly well made military static line harnesses, with no padding on the leg straps. And you can't adjust the leg straps when you have combat equipment on, you spend the whole ride dreading the jump cuz you can feel your boys under the strap but can't do anything about it.History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D.
