jumpjunkie2004 0 #4 September 20, 2005 Unless you live somewhere with great weather all year round, the best job for a skydiver is a full time job doing something else to support your habit. Jump, Land, Pack, Repeat...

ntrprnr 0 #6 September 20, 2005 Quotewhat is the best employment for a skydiver? Run your own company. You can be in "meetings" all day on a random Wednesday. :) And, if your drop zone has wi-fi, (thanks, Ranch!) you can work from there, too, between jumps!_______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" Kris 0 #7 September 20, 2005 Quotewhat is the best employment for a skydiver? Like the joke goes... What's the difference between a pizza and a skydiving instructor / cameraman / rigger? dgskydive 0 #11 September 20, 2005 Lisa said it best. Win the lottery. Or get a job in gear sales. The pay isn't he best but they make up for it in other ways. I know a company that is hiring right now.Dom
btucker 0 #12 September 21, 2005 tradie's seem to do alright. i.e. carpenters, electricians. plumbers... Charge a fortune and work for themselves. Some IT workers have a good balance between pay and flexibility - thankfully I am one of them.

vibeke 0 #15 September 21, 2005 Work within the skydive industry? Only concern is you might get tired of it, if skydiving becomes "a job". Personally I will quit an amazing career in about a year, to go skydive. I can imagine nothing better than beeing payed to jump out of aeroplanes... Even if I will be making less than 50% the money I am now._________________________________________________________ Your success and happiness, is in direct proportions to your commitment to excellence, regardless of your chosen field of endeavour.
