gremlin 0 #1 September 9, 2005 For 2 months I have been organising my Regimental Family Day, which is happening this Sunday. The centre piece was to be a parachute demonstration. The stalls were set up so that the demonstration had the largest possible landing area. I got all the paperwork sorted out and was 4 jumps off my demo clearance. This morning I did 2 of the 4 jumps before popping in to work to organise my Regiment's pre-Iraq training. Went back in the afternoon to do the last 2 only to find they broke the aircraft! The gearbox is cracked and the spare aircraft is in servicing. So... Can anyone in Germany lend me an aircraft - all offers will be considered - especially from the military - C130 - Huey etc?I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine.... cmchristian 0 #2 September 9, 2005 A good friend of mine did the coordination for the Fort Hood Freedom Fest demo this past July 4. What he did was get a tasking from the unit (III Corp tasking) asking for the demo. He was able to get us a Blackhawk to do the demo with along with a few practice jumps. At the regimental level I don't know if you have the resources, but your next higher HQ may be able to help.
