kelel01 1 #53 August 31, 2005 That would be a shame. This really puts a crimp in my plans. I've lost my ride up there now, and I have a plane ticket back that might go to waste.
livendive 8 #54 August 31, 2005 Quote The scenery will be SPECTACULAR there. As you fly over get the pilot to point out the Superior airport. My house is about 8 miles SW of there. That's if he is flying IFR along I-90 to Missoula. Hope the fires have calmed down and you guys get nice clear skies by then. Yeah, I've been to Stevensville in the past, as well as LP, and I agree that the scenery is western MT is awesome. FYI when you eventually get back...the Spokane DZ (West Plains) is growing up. They bought a Caravan last winter and it's flying every weekend during the season. Definitely worth the drive from Missoula, at least occasionally. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" Barring significant winds on tandem jumps, I can fly the entire perimter of town under canopy and still make it back to the DZ. I'm pretty sure the population of the town increases at least several percent on weekends due to the DZ. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" Hehehehehee............Yep..........you guys should advertise "Scenic tours of town under canopy" in your advertising. I lived and worked at Fairchild for 3 1/2 years so I'm pretty familiar with the area. My kid lives out in the Valley with his psycho fat Mom.

If I can even walk on Monday, I'll hopefully do some jumping, but I think everyone from my DZ will be at Couch Freaks, since it's only 3 hours away cavete terrae.
