but they won't give me my severance if I don't work on Friday.

That would be a shame if in your distress you accidentally broke the copier or downloaded a virus onto their computers or something like that. ;)

The scenery will be SPECTACULAR there. As you fly over get the pilot to point out the Superior airport. My house is about 8 miles SW of there. That's if he is flying IFR along I-90 to Missoula. :D Hope the fires have calmed down and you guys get nice clear skies by then.

Yeah, I've been to Stevensville in the past, as well as LP, and I agree that the scenery is western MT is awesome. FYI when you eventually get back...the Spokane DZ (West Plains) is growing up. They bought a Caravan last winter and it's flying every weekend during the season. Definitely worth the drive from Missoula, at least occasionally.

That would be a shame. :D

This really puts a crimp in my plans. I've lost my ride up there now, and I have a plane ticket back that might go to waste. :(

that sucks!

you could stay here and dog-sit, and I could catch a ride! :o:D

That's in the giant metropolis of Davenport isn't it? :D I may have to make a visit over that way one of these days.

Yup. Barring significant winds on tandem jumps, I can fly the entire perimter of town under canopy and still make it back to the DZ. :D I'm pretty sure the population of the town increases at least several percent on weekends due to the DZ.

Hehehehehee............Yep..........you guys should advertise "Scenic tours of town under canopy" in your advertising. :D I lived and worked at Fairchild for 3 1/2 years so I'm pretty familiar with the area. My kid lives out in the Valley with his psycho fat Mom. :D

I've gotta play two college soccer games on Saturday, and one on Sunday. If I can even walk on Monday, I'll hopefully do some jumping, but I think everyone from my DZ will be at Couch Freaks, since it's only 3 hours away :(

Nationals, baby!

Yeah, definitely one of the most fun "boogies" out there...all friends, all there for the same reason, many of them people you haven't seen in a year...

Awesome!

More of you dz.commers need to start competing!

(hopefully not until after we've yelled obscenities from the top of the ferris wheel).

I think you should aim higher. Try to get kicked out for obscene behavior on the top of the ferris wheel!
