Why is this everyone's initial response when someone says they want to do something? I'm guilty of it, too, to be sure. But why must we constantly be little thunderclouds raining on everyone else's parades? YES. WORK SUCKS. It doesn't matter what you do - WORK SUCKS. But it's all about finding your niche - something you can BEAR to do. So why do we always feel so inclined to point out the negative?

Let's try this from now on: "That sounds cool", or "Hmmmm . . . sounds interesting". It's really hard to jobhunt when everyone keeps telling you how much every job on the planet sucks. Guess what? I work for money, not pleasure. And I will NEVER work for pleasure. There is NOTHING on this planet that I want to do 40+ hours per week (not even have sex, skydive, eat, or pleasure myself ). And I know that. So there.
