vibeke 0 #2 August 29, 2005 Yes, we went to Aerograd Kolomna last year, for a small training camp and fun. Great DZ, great people. I highly reccomend it! We were about 20 ppl total, but every year people in groups of 2 or 3 danish skydivers stay there for a few months. The staff at Kolomna helped us with the planning and the official invitations needed. We applied for visas and that was more or less it. All in all its not so complicated. And Russia is still reasonable with their jump-tickets, even though they are getting increasingly more expensive.
xara 0 #3 August 29, 2005 My boyfriend and I went to Russia this summer, to Aerograd Kolomna, for one month. This is really a great dropzone; they're efficient and professional - and most of all they have the MI-8 helicopter! For the tourist voucher needed to get a tourist visa, we used the Eyevista travel agency, as suggested on the Aerograd website, which worked out fine. Might be a good idea to apply for the visa some time in advance just to be sure it works out in time for your travel. There is one more "big" dropzone in Russia, called Stupino, and I've heard it's a good one as well. Anyways, we loved it at Aerograd, and really recommend everone going there. Tone-xara- I want a skydiving elevator!!!
