RickNC 0 #1 August 14, 2008 Is it possible to get goggles with prescription lenses in them? Nothing I hate more than over the glasses goggles. I would like if possible a pair of tinted prescription lenses in a pair of goggles. Thanks.
tripleflip18 0 #2 August 14, 2008 I just got them, because they sit at a different angle, they hurt my eyes and therefore i can't really use them. But perhaps you can get some that are shaped to your head. Good luck
Hausse 0 #3 August 15, 2008 I don't know about that. What do you do if you lose your goggles? I did a tracking dive and the track was so insane () that one of my contacts blew out (I was wearing goggles). I've got -10 on both eyes and it was a pretty exciting landing as I completely lost depth perception. I was lucky to walk away from it. I don't wanna know what would happen if I completely lost my sight...
base_nz 0 #4 August 15, 2008 i got way cools.... They have an insert which sits bellow the plastic of the goggle.... costs about 100 aud to get them set up....if you need to change your script then just change the inserts..... Otherway is to have the perscription on the outside but because of the cuvature of the goggle this can be hard ( and expensive).........And you thought Kiwis couldn't fly!!!! GravityGirl 0 #6 August 15, 2008 You can get Gatorz with perscription lenses. There are several other choices. It would be nice if you can try a few pairs on before springing for the scrip lenses. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! RickNC 0 #7 August 16, 2008 I was checking out the SportRX and they appear to fit the bill. My eyes are not that bad however for long distance I do need glasses. I understand most people prefer clear goggeles but I would have to get a slight tint due to how light sensitive my eyes are. Thanks.
