But Ben's room was on the other side of the house, and I didn't have to live with Robin. Now it's in MY house, on MY child's foot (and in his shoes), and this is not a big place. Lysol the place? An application a day for a few days, and Athletes Foot will be gone in a couple of weeks. Never fails. Always works for me. Spray in the shoes before you go to bed too... Ventilate when combining the above cleaners for your safety. I am a Nurse. Lotramin Ultra is the best otc topical anti-fungal out there. Use the mentioned cleaners COMBINED at your own risk. Bleach the shower, bathroom floor, and tub. Girlfalldown 0 #9 August 23, 2005 You probably won't believe me but put ALL of your childs shoes in the freezer in large ziplock bags for a couple of days. During that time treat their feet with some kind of over the counter athletes foot medicine. The freezer will kill the creatures creating the stench. I actually tried it and it worked for me. Some might call BS but I did it myself so f@%&! em. Edited to add that you can also put socks that you just can't get that smell out of in the freezer too. It usually works in 24 hours or so.
