jayhfx 0 #1 August 18, 2005 A local skydiver who was with us for the summer has passed on to the bluest of skies. Tyler aged 25 lost his life on August 14 in a double murder. Apparently he lost his life protecting his friend. His memorial was a testament to how much this sport meant to him. All of us here at the Atlantic School of Skydiving here in Nova Scotia will miss him and the community at large has lost a good one. Holy shit .....I heard the name on the news but didnt relize it was our Tyler I only knew him for a few weeks but he was one of the "nice guys".....always had a smile on his face and super friendly......he had fallen in love with our sport and it was always easy to see the joy on his face.. His family we're quite happy to talk skydiving and told us how much jumping mean't to him. It was pretty cool. The funeral is being held today and they just announced they have charged someone with 2 counts of first degree murder and he will be in court today to here the charges. jay Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

From what I've read here, he was highly thought of and was a class act. I hate hearing things like this. As for the guy who killed him... I hope, they fry his ass!
