Yes, and loving it. So far I've gotten really good at jumping out of airplanes. Now If I could only learn to skydive. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. I don't necessarily think I fit in that category, but I would LOVE to be able to afford to jump MORE. I agree. According to my jump numbers to years in sport ratio I'd be considered a hobbyist. But I've been living and breathing skydiving since the day I started working in the skydiving industry (over ten years ago). You can only blow off so many bills for skydives before you find you have no money left for either.
 Evelyn 0 #32 August 17, 2005 Skydiving has definitely enriched my life. I love having something that I am passionate about in my life. Sure, I have other things I'm passionate about, like my family and friends, but my life is more complete with skydiving and all the great friends I've made as a result of skydiving. I have put skydiving more in perspective (don't forego events with family and friends to skydive like I used to), but it is still my favorite way to spend a day Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller
 Dougjumper 0 #33 August 17, 2005 Do it manily because im bored. Yep really hasnt enriched my life so to speak lost too many close friends in the Sport. Stayed Broke and worked my Ass off my first 5 years in the Sport just to jump and learn new techniques etc. I do like to Skydive but to me its just another passion that if I had to, could live without. But for now I prefer not to do without and im not puttin on the Brakes just yet. Still have a few years left and hopefully no more of my Sky friends have to die damnit. 'Enriching your life' can be just about any facet of your life that makes it more complete, family, friends, skydiving, work, whatever else makes you tick. There's a big difference between something that adds to your present life and your poll that is more along the lines of 'are you obsessed by skydiving.' It enriches my life, but a lot of other things come first. I live at the DZ every weekend and all of my 100 jumps were made in the last 9 months. However, I could give it up in a heartbeat if necessary. It's a hobby, it enriches my life, but it doesn't define my life.
