My mom got the test results back from last week and it's only an enlarged lymph node!!!!

After the doctor told her that she had a deviated trachea with a lung mass!!!

I am so happy right now and so relieved, I can't even see straight

I need a drink, I'm going after work to celebrate!!


Oh and this is a blessing in disguise because she's giving up smoking and I don't have to give up skydiving!! WAHOO!!!

Thank you to all those that kept her in your thoughts and prayers... it was a very difficult two weeks for me.

Congrats to your MOM, I just quit smoking also about two weeks ago because I had a friend in the same situation. I hope your Mom is able to quit and lives a very long and happy life smoke free

Don't you just hate it when Dr.'s give you a scary diagnosis then change it.

Well It is GREAT news that everything is better but dang can't they get that right the first time at least once in awhile.

What does your doctor and your local weather person have in common? They only have a 50% chance of getting the diagnosis right but either way they will prolly screw up your weekend!

I'm replying to everyone in this thread.

Thank you everyone for your support, your thoughts and your prayers for my family and me. It means more to me than you all will ever truly know.

My mom is my best friend, she is my foundation and the first one to tell me when I've fucked up (yes, she will put it to me that bluntly), the first in line to give me a pat on the back, the first to wipe away my tears and the first person I go to with any problem I have. These past two weeks have shown me that I would be one lost soul without her.
