Nataly 38 #1 August 15, 2005 Hi there! I've moved to England from Canada on a bit of an impulse.. In December my boytoy asked me to come over; in February (the 5th!!) I was here in London!!! With everything going on, I didn't try too hard to sell my car; I figured it would sell itself in the summer. Trouble is I've left it at my folks, who have no selling skills & are too busy to bother so I've put it for auction on e-bay. I mean, would you purchase a vehicle off e-bay?? You can test drive it if you live nearby, but.. speedy 0 #2 August 15, 2005 Yep, I sold a Nissan 200 SX with a broken gearbox. So you couldn't test drive it. I got a good price for it as well considering I thought it was scrap. I have also sold a Kawasaki ZX750R on ebay as well. I would never buy a car from ebay though Dave Fallschirmsport Marl
skydiverton 0 #3 August 15, 2005 BUY a car??? Just remove the person behind the wheel and drive away ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig
Daizey 0 #4 August 15, 2005 One of my good friends from college bought a car off ebay. He got a hell of a deal and had no problems whatsoever. He kept his search local and managed to find a Toyota Celica about 8 hours away for a price he probably couldn't have found anywhere else. The sellers drove it to my house, he got to look it over, drive it and have it inspected, paid up, and it was his. Three years later and he still hasnt' had a single problem with it. *daizey*
Ragnarok 0 #5 August 15, 2005 94 Probe and it still runs? Good luck. May get enough for a new Main or an AAD...... I sold a 95 Eclipse GST (turbocharged) that I had modified with about 5k in go-fast goodies. New turbo, ect. ect. 35 people bid on the car and some guy came in at the last second and won it. The car Blue Booked at 3k stock. I got 6,200.00 for it. He came and got it about 5 days later and paid cash for it._________________________________________ Twin Otter N203-Echo,29 July 2006 Cessna P206 N2537X, 19 April 2008 Blue Skies Forever
Nataly 38 #6 August 15, 2005 Jeezus christ that was lucky!! Yeah, a 94 Probe, but it was highway-driven and in Ontario (they don't salt the shit out of their roads like we do in New Brunswick). It's in wicked shape. Red Book price between 2500 and 3500 or thereabouts--can't remember exactly off the top of my head. But it's definitely at the upper range. That's in Canadian dollars, in case you were wondering!!"There is no problem so bad you can't make it worse." - Chris Hadfield « Sors le martinet et flagelle toi indigne contrôleuse de gestion. » - my boss
