Mike111 0 #1 August 12, 2005 Still a student so have no experience of any of these, but i was wondering what gives you the most satisfaction from skydiving disciplines: which is the most colourful, which is the most dynamic? Although some skydivers may have only recently started or have mainly focused on one type of discipline, what is about their chosen choice or future choice which gets their juices flowing? Even if you only just have started participating, lets what yu think about your choice of discipline and why you love it so much - what does it give you pack from what you have put in? I would Choose RW - good cahnce to work with others and because it is useful to a newbie to imrpove skills - a lot of satisfaction I hope im not out of my league in polling this. Even though hardly any of you know me, lets hear you views and get the real reasons why people choose their disciplines!Blue Skies Mike
fireflytx 0 #2 August 12, 2005 YEAH I VOTED FIRST FREESTLYE HAS 100% Freestyle is very challanging. WrongWay 0 #3 August 12, 2005 For me, it's freefly, hands down. It not only allows me to think outside the box, but it requires me to. I like that. Wrong Way D #27371 Mal Manera Rodriguez Cajun Chicken Ø Hellfish #451 The wiser wolf prevails.

SkydivingNurse 0 #7 August 12, 2005 Still a student, but I can't wait to be good enough to fly a wingsuit. Anything that keeps me in the air longer has to be a good thing.
Superman32 0 #8 August 12, 2005 Those freestyle pics absolutely rock. Very impressive looking. Is the person stable through the entire freefall or is it hold position for few seconds and tumbles out of it? Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches! Darius11 12 #9 August 12, 2005 Freeflying is awesome. I totally suck at it, But I have a blast doing it. When it comes to freeflying I am way below average but it is total freedom. Don't forget Belly is a part of freeflying. I have not done any serious head down yet. I figure i have another 200-300 jumps upright before i will be good enough to go HD. Good Luck and always have funI'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Sebazz1 2 #14 August 12, 2005 My favorite discipline is down wind no-flare landing competitions. Didn't see it on the list though, bummer... Down wind no-flare takes little discipline or training. Bad judgement is an absolute neccesity though. I was born with bad judgement so it is natural for me but others usually need liquid courage suplements or hard knocks to the head. It is colourful, crazy and wild!!
NWFlyer 2 #15 August 12, 2005 QuoteMy favorite discipline is down wind no-flare landing competitions. Didn't see it on the list though, bummer... Oooh pick me pick me! I saw that one at Lost Prairie. There was only one competitor, though (but two broken ankles...)."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. Frenchy68 0 #16 August 12, 2005 QuoteMy favorite discipline is down wind no-flare landing competitions. Didn't see it on the list though, bummer... That sounds like fun. Shouldn't it be tried with a tiny highly loaded elliptical?
