Elisha 1 #2 August 11, 2005 I sometime wish I had a TiVo. Neither Blockbuster nor this other local chain has Drop Zone in stock.

dgskydive 0 #5 August 11, 2005 Out of all the skydiving movies it is the best one. One of my bosses did stunts for it. I watch it from time to time. Way better then Cutaway.Dom

grue 1 #8 August 11, 2005 QuoteThey're the wax cylinders of the 21st century. I've gotta say, the backloop that "Swoop" does during his cutaway to save the newbie is pretty cool.cavete terrae.
dgskydive 0 #9 August 11, 2005 did you like the part where they kited the canopies off the roof and into the back of the truck? Kate was a part of that. My favorite part was when Swoop based off the building.Dom
grue 1 #10 August 11, 2005 Yeah, that part was pretty neat. I hope that some day I can do just one skydiving stunt for a film or TV show, that'd be amazingly cool cavete terrae.

sunshine 2 #13 August 12, 2005 I like dropzone. I don't care about the "correctness" of all the skydiving scenes. It's fun to watch. Now i wanna go find my copy of it and watch it. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
Evelyn 0 #14 August 12, 2005 Quote Time to watch this film for the first time since I started jumping, to see how much I laugh at it. Cool that your TiVo picked up on it. The only thing our TiVo records on it's own is stupid golf tournaments . I did find the movie on Amazon. Not too expensive, and it's a pretty cool movie Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller
NWFlyer 2 #15 August 12, 2005 I just created a tivo wish list for it so that if it's on again, it'll record. Should be amusing."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. pdj6p 0 #16 August 12, 2005 obviously somthing is wrong with your Tivo. I would have it checked out it sounds pretty serious. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.
Sheenster303 0 #17 August 12, 2005 I saw that on USA today before I went to work and I totally could not stop myself from watching it. Wesley Snipes was amazing! Docking on a four way and turning points on his first ever skydive. Wow.....I wanna be like Wesley Snipes. I'm so funny I crack my head open! peckerhead 0 #18 August 12, 2005 Quote Time to watch this film for the first time since I started jumping, to see how much I laugh at it. I tivo-ed Point break last night. I still think that movie brought more wuffos into the fold than all other skydiving movies combined. I remember that summer we were flooded with every 18-24 year old male that wanted to skydive. Some even brought their girlfriends to the DZ (bad idea) I don't think any other movie about skydiving had the impact that point break did as far as sparking interest to our sport. mdrejhon 8 #19 August 12, 2005 Although my interest in skydiving peaked when I rode the "Extreme SkyFlyer" ride at the Canada's Wonderland amusement park in 1996, I did see all these movies, which probably did contribute some of my interest into trying this hobby, if only to keep the word "skydiving" in my vocabulary
