Did I totally miss something? Are you back in the air?

"Wedding Crashers" is a funny movie. I really like the crazy woman! I really like Rachel McAdams, too. Plus, Vince Vaughn is always funny.

Slip N' Slides are FUN!

Ice cream is good.

The only disappointing thing was that I wasn't there to see Tony win and had to settle for watching it on tv! I was hoping to see him last year...so much so that I even bought a hat! As usual, I'm always ahead of my time.

Man, I had an AWESOME time at the dz on Friday!! :) at home sick on Friday, so I decided I better get my ass out there cuz it had been 3 weeks!

I had some awesome jumps with Tory, Doug (dougieFresh) and Jim! It was awesome when we finally nailed that 4-way exit!! B| I flew some great patterns, too. I landed next to the peas every time!

Beer owed for my first jump from a skyvan!! Man, I knew I was gonna fall off that damn bar!
:S Oh well, it was still a helluva lota fun! :D Beer also owed for my first stand up landing on my new canopy, woo-hoo!!!!! B| I think I'm getting the hang of flaring that thing!

Didn't quite get to 50, but who cares, it was still a fantastic day of jumping!! Thanks, guys! :)
Edit to add: It was also so awesome cuz my new slider WORKED!!! No more slammer openings, YES!!!! :)

20 freefly jumps and a couple tracking dives to end the days. 1 case for number 500. All in all, an awesome weekend at Spaceland, although I never would've thought that mud-bogging and skydiving would be a combined sport! I guess the otters have 3 wheel drive.;)

Completed the AFF-I course with Jay Stokes, first emergency cutaway (with a grandmother as my student, just took her husband, her son was waiting, her family of about a dozen watching, landing was fine) and the first AFF jump on the dropzone with a real student.

Yeah, it was a busy time.

Owed beer for first Jump at 2 new dropzones, and for first head down (not on video, so I think it doesnt count)

A eight way, nine way, and seven way. I did have a brake come loose on opening which was not fun considering I nearly lost a contact lens on the same jump when I exited.

Brought home a summer cold from LP. Head too stuffed up to jump. Hung out at Byron on Saturday afternoon on the off chance that my ears would clear up. No such luck. Saw an unfortunate AFF student get drug across the sooty landing area due to gusty winds. I helped reef in the main. Took a lot of work with the Brush of Shame to clean up the rig and jumpsuit.

Man am I jonesing to get some air time.
50 donations so far. Give it a try.
