We Raider fans rather enjoy beating 80,000 people all rooting for the same team. Not only to we beat them, we also stab them. We've beaten up the Murph. Denver is next. Does anyone remember Ken "the snake" Stabler getting drunk the night before a big game against Denver, then throwing 4 touchdown passes with a head-splitting hangover? That was one bad-ass performance! tcnelson 1 #29 August 9, 2005 yeah, watching sports is boring as hell. i totally agree with your assessment of football and baseball. not only that, if you actually go to the game in person, you can look forward to spending a boat load of cash to be thoroughly bored out of your mind. playing football and baseball is a different story."Don't talk to me like that assface...I don't work for you yet." - Fletch NBFT, Deseoso Rodriguez RB#1329
BillyVance 34 #30 August 9, 2005 Quote And the Raiders... hmph.. the most cheatiness team ever to take the grid iron! Well, yeah... most of the players were outcasts from other teams. Ain't that what made them fun to watch? With guys like The Tooz, Alzado, Biletnikoff, Stabler... I'd have a hard time trying to decide which is more fun to watch, a 1970's Raider game, or the original "The Longest Yard" football movie... Either way you are right Bily.. I think they were one in the same!

Has anyone seen the new movie with Adam Sandler? I know several actual NFL superstars were in that one, as well as a few pro wrestling stars, like Goldberg and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Should be fun to watch when it comes out on DVD, if only for the on-field antics... And the Raiders... hmph.. the most cheatiness team ever to take the grid iron! I had the honor of seeing Elway and the Broncos lose a Super Bowl in person at the Rose Bowl. The Raiders were cheating? Actually, Ted Hendricks commented on that. He said something to the effect of, "The Raiders are responsible for many rule changes. There's no clotheslining, no spearing, no clipping, no forward fumbles in the last two minutes, and no throwing of helmets. See? We're not all bad." The Raiders didn't cheat. They played within the rules at the time. Those rules were subsequently changed. And Denver lost all credibility with cheating allegations after Lou Saban accused the Raiders of filling up footballs with helium for Ray Guy's punts. My wife is hotter than your wife. tumbler 0 #34 August 9, 2005 Let me know what you find out! The cast includes Green Bay Packer Ray Nitschke (Bodaanski), LA Rams/ Pittsburgh Steelers alum Mike Henry (Rasmussen), Minnesota Viking QB Joe Kapp (Walking Boss) and Pervis Atkins (Mawabe) - who had stints with the Rams, the Washington Redskins and the Oakland Raiders. With these guys hammering Crewe, the prospect of beating the guards after the game’s first half becomes a daunting one. Google
