padawonMonkey 0 #1 August 8, 2005 For those of you who don't know, Liz is a loved member of Raefords very close skydiving family. Unfortunatly she was involved in a bad motorcycle accident in early July. Without going into any unnecesary details, she was in bad shape. Raeford DZ as a whole was hit hard both professionally, as Liz is a bad ass packer, and emotionally, as she is great friend. A few weeks ago SkyCat sponsored an auction to benefit Liz at the CaSL meet here. A lot of people from Raeford and the surrounding dropzones chipped in and made the event a great success. All told we raised $6120.00. WOW. This is great for Liz but just think of what that means for the rest of us. When you start skydiving you join a family and that family will catch you when you fall.
