shananay 0 #51 August 2, 2005 Truly sad days have passed upon us yet again. My heart is with each and every one of us that are affected by this tragedy. My prayers are with the families, friends and to all of you in Deland. Egon..What a man I met in Egon. For the months that we were together he taught me, or tried to teach me, so much about life and people, animals and anything else I would sit and listen to him speak so deeply about. He knew ALL! And what he didn't know he was ready for you to explain to him. His heart was the biggest of anyone I have ever shared a moment of my life with. His innocence and tenderness, his intoxicating laughter, and those eyes that captured your soul... mostly his hugs. That man knew how to hug and make everything better...those are what I am struggling with letting go. As is everyone else I am sure. For this, for all of us I am more saddened than I know what to do with right now. Thank you Egon for the moments that you so happily shared with me. I will hold you in my heart forever and will always love you. Please watch over all of us and mostly go be free. Give us all the glorious sunsets and blue sky days that you so loved. I look forward to being with you again one day, and cracking open this bottle of Amarula I can't bear to open until then. I miss you so much already! Krystal, Piers and oh so crazy Bruno, you will never be forgotten. Thank you for the laughter. Do it Again! P.M.S. #22 LaLa Gang #
SkymonkeyONE 4 #53 August 3, 2005 Anyone got any pictures of that perfect raft dive we pulled off at SkyFest? I think that's the only jump I did with Egon at MudFest, but it was fucking perfect. OK Egon, just one more and we will crash for the night. Peace, Chuck
Kolla 0 #54 August 3, 2005 Nah... no pictures I'm afraid :( According to the video guy we were falling at -64 miles per hour so he lost us. And what a perfect raft dive it was.... and so Egon. "come on you, we're on a 10 minute call and we're doing a raft dive". "what do you mean you have never done one before, you are way overdue then so get your shit on and give me a ticket". Ahhh man, I miss you guys!!!!! KollaBlue Skies Magazine

happythoughts 0 #56 August 3, 2005 I met Krystal through Arlo when they were visiting Zhills once. The only pic that I have of her was from NCB at Sebastian in Feb.

Paige 0 #60 August 3, 2005 I am very thankful to have great memories of these two RWS clowns Egon and Piers had infections smiles, personalities, love for life and shared that with us all. For all of the qualities they embodied, I am very grateful to have met them both and become friends. Piers and Egon you will be missed very very much. Without Piers assistance the Tunnel Pink Mafia wouldn't have been possible at SVO. Flying with Barbie will be a great reminder of Piers and his passion for innovation and meeting new challenges. Egon, Piers and I were kicking around some tunnel rig ideas online and we were going to meet for lunch. I loved being there to 'see' Piers brain working and then spawning a thousand new possibilities from one idea. His mind was amazing and his willingness to share knowledge was second to none. I still can't believe...Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
Kramer 0 #61 August 8, 2005 Man... I don't even know what to say. I've been out of the loop lately and just heard about this tonight. Egon is the first person I've met in this sport to die. I met him this time last year at Rantoul and bought a rig off of him. I saw him at Richmond and Eloy and the PIA Symposium in Jacksonville since then. I'll always remember him for being a very cool down-to-earth guy. He was always willing to talk to me even though I am very much a small timer. I'll miss having his positive presense around in the future. The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!!
