Kid_Icarus 0 #1 August 1, 2005 So many to choose from.... I'm gonna go with Saturday night mayhem at the bar. Here's the scene, we're at the end of the bar with the Utah crew... local girl (obviously) walks by and goes to my buddy "Are you guys skydivers?" My friend goes "No." She gives us the thumbs down with a raspberry (plllhhhtttt ) and keeps walking. I'm still laughing. We all just looked at each other and laughed. Super good time though. Great weather, good jumps, beautiful scenery, and lots of nice people. I think I'm still hungover....... ________________________________________ "What What..... NWFlyer 2 #4 August 1, 2005 What happens at Lost Prairie stays at Lost Prairie. How could I have any memories of it? Good times, good times... I'll be cleaning Montana dust out of my stuff for weeks, but it was completely worth it. jasonRose 0 #8 August 1, 2005 Describing LP is like telling a Wuffo what it is like to skydive. Fucking Awsome Time! One of the best parts besides hanging with my sisters and brothers was hanging from the bar of the skyvan! GIA YOU FUCKING ROCK!!!!! Oh and I almost forgot winning third place during the novice tracking dive. Thanks Mad John. Some day I will have the best staff in the world!!! monkycndo 0 #9 August 1, 2005 My first LP and it lived up to all the hype. Whether it be the jumping, the singing, the rope swing (ouch), or matching a face to a avatar (getting an Amazon hug and spanking). Made my 100th jump with the help of NWFlyer, livendive, SeaKev, GiaKrembs. What a week!50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
mcneill79 0 #10 August 1, 2005 Way too many to remember. I had a great time hanging out with new and old friends and meeting people I had only talked to on dz.com One of my personal favorite memories was when someone was trying to get me to do Cunning Linguist and MadJohn just puts his arm around me and says "She's in not shape to do Cunning Linguist". Thanks for looking out for me MadJohn. And for the record... I did NOT do a bar dive but there certainly much debauchery
Amazon 7 #11 August 1, 2005 I realllly loved the look of my REALLLLLLY pretty YELLOW r-Max reserve on Sunday morning. ( loaded at 1.55 to 1 at LP... woo hoo) I got to jump Vikings Dads Papillion into McGregor Lake.... Parties.. fun as always...seeing old friends and making new ones... I have a few cases of Skydiver Blonde and Huckleberry and Honey from Lang to tide me over till next year.
NWFlyer 2 #12 August 2, 2005 My favorite memory was meeting Kid_Icarus. Oh, wait, I *didn't* meet Kid_Icarus. What up with that? I did enjoy the combat RW I did on Wednesday out of the Skyvan that resulted in a nice little black eye (never did develop into a full-blown shiner; I was hoping for a bruise I could could use in a bar fight story)."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. pdj6p 0 #15 August 2, 2005 you must have seen J.J. (a.k.a.) Kid Icarus. He is the one that is 4' 11", #269, lazy eye and has a wart on his chin. you just can't miss him. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

cocheese 0 #22 August 2, 2005 It was 3 years ago, but maybe you can relate.High pull(13,000) on the sunset load. Looking west made my jaw drop. Purple mountain majesty as far as i could see. Thought i was on a different planet (hypoxia ?) haha. And Glacier Park was jaw dropping too. The whole boogie experince was a long awaited dream come true.I must go back there soon. homer 0 #23 August 2, 2005 I did it this year and ended up on the C207 and we went out at 14K agl thats 17.5K asl. I was the last person to land who made it back. Our pilot only new that the air craft were in front and below us. We went out over the mountains and NOT the valley. Thank god we were 1K feet higher than everyone else or I would have been one of the many who didn't make it back. I only had room for one beer in my pocket other wise I would have loved to of gotten a pic of the sunset. Truly something I will not soon forget. As for the beer it tasted great at 12k. LP is a one of a kind Boogie. CSA #699 Muff #3804

homer 0 #25 August 2, 2005 Now emagin how cold it was up there about 40F and wearing gloves. I was afraid to drop it as I was shivering with skydivers a 1,000 feet below. Dropping an empty can is almost harmless but a full can would have killed. It still was a sight to see. I will do it again next year with the exception I will have two beers.
