How often do you see a killer sunset ?

Recommended Posts

I have posted a pic of a sunset with the backdrop of mountains in Colorado which would give anyone goosebumps...my farewell jump was a teary-eyed one..it's on this website somewhere..I think in reply to CanuckinUSA. That sunset jump will remain in my memory forever:)

Man, I wish I could have taken a picture of the first sunset I ever saw from 7,000 ft. It was my first AFF jump and the freefall was so scary (ended up on my back and couldn't get stable). The instructor pulled for me at about 7,000 and it was breathtaking being under that canopy all by myself looking at that gorgeous sunset! It made everything that went wrong on that dive absolutely worth it!

Mama always told me not to look into the eyes of the sun. But mama, that's where the fun is.

what was the name of that band ?

"Blinded By The Light" written by Bruce Springsteen, biggest hit was by Manfred Mann.

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

We have been having beautiful ones down here in Florida due to all the African dust that's been traveling around. You can look directly at the sun and not hurt your eyes- that's how much dust is in the air. It's been a bright orange- just georgious!

"Killer" sunsets is a great way to describe them. Here at the southern end of the San Joaquin Valley in California, all the crap in the air from as far away as Sacramento, SF Bay Area pools here with nowhere to go. Makes for beautiful colors at sunrise and sunset, but...B|
