skydivermom 0 #5 July 30, 2005 Man, I wish I could have taken a picture of the first sunset I ever saw from 7,000 ft. It was my first AFF jump and the freefall was so scary (ended up on my back and couldn't get stable). The instructor pulled for me at about 7,000 and it was breathtaking being under that canopy all by myself looking at that gorgeous sunset! It made everything that went wrong on that dive absolutely worth it!Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:

jceman 1 #15 July 30, 2005 QuoteMama always told me not to look into the eyes of the sun. But mama, that's where the fun is. what was the name of that band ? "Blinded By The Light" written by Bruce Springsteen, biggest hit was by Manfred Mann. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

srsublime 0 #23 July 31, 2005 We have been having beautiful ones down here in Florida due to all the African dust that's been traveling around. You can look directly at the sun and not hurt your eyes- that's how much dust is in the air. It's been a bright orange- just georgious! Orfun #21... thanks PsychoBob! dropdeded 0 #24 July 31, 2005 "Killer" sunsets is a great way to describe them. Here at the southern end of the San Joaquin Valley in California, all the crap in the air from as far away as Sacramento, SF Bay Area pools here with nowhere to go.
